Agreement Terms
1. Booking and Payment
Prices are negotiated on a case-by-case basis depending on the content of the event and the size of the customer group. We reserve the right to change the price according to changes in the number of customers. The customer orders the cruise by accepting the offer and paying for the cruise in full.

2. Changes to the Booking
If the customer needs to reschedule the event, we will primarily try to change the date according to the customer's wishes without additional costs. Changing the date depends on our booking situation, and the earlier the customer notifies us of the change, the more likely it is to succeed. If the customer wants to reschedule the cruise due to predicted bad weather, it is possible. This must be notified in writing 3 days before the agreed cruise date. In this case, a new date for the cruise will be agreed upon with the customer, taking into account the boat's other future bookings.
3. Cancellation of the Booking
If the customer cancels the cruise more than 2 weeks before the cruise date, a 25% cancellation fee of the cruise price will be charged. If the cancellation occurs 1 week before the cruise date, we reserve the right to charge 50% of the total price. Cancellations made less than a week before the cruise date will be charged at full price, unless the booking situation allows for a date change within the current season (1.5.-15.9). If the booked cruise has to be canceled due to a natural obstacle, e.g., a technical fault with the boat, we will immediately contact the person who made the booking and the payments will be refunded to the customer.

4. Responsibilities and Insurances
The customer is responsible for all personal and property damages caused by the customer or passenger to the service provider, other passengers, or third parties. The customer is also responsible for damages caused by the customer or passengers not following the service provider's instructions, rules, or regulations. The customer is responsible for ensuring that passengers have sufficient and comprehensive insurance such as: Liability, health, and accident insurance, as well as necessary travel, luggage, and cancellation insurance. The service provider is not responsible for indirect damages caused to the customer. The customer is obliged to make the payment according to these terms and follow the captain's advice and instructions during the cruise.

5. Force Majeure
To ensure the safety of the cruise, Aalto Charter reserves the right to make necessary changes to the route plan, duration, and/or timing of the cruise if weather conditions require it. Aalto Charter also reserves the right to interrupt the cruise if a participant is potentially dangerous to themselves or others or if they are ill. Prepaid cruises are not refunded in these cases.

6. Cleaning
The services include normal cleaning of the boat after the cruise. This includes, among other things, cleaning the interior: vacuuming the floors, cleaning the seats and tables. Cleaning the exterior: cleaning the seats and tables and cleaning surfaces. Waste removal: collecting and properly disposing of garbage, and cleaning sanitary facilities: cleaning toilets and washing facilities.
Cleaning does not include thorough cleaning of carpets and upholstery (e.g., removing wine stains, which may require industrial steam cleaners or deep cleaning equipment) and cleaning toilets if they require disinfection and special cleaning agents. Compensation for these will be agreed upon separately.

7. About Boat Safety
Our boat is equipped with professional navigation and communication equipment: Radar, satellite compass, magnetic compass, 2*chart plotter, echo sounder, VHF-DSC (sending and receiving alerts).
Smoking is prohibited on board, and pets are not allowed.
Safety and customer comfort are important guidelines for our operations. Before cruises, we hold a safety briefing where we clearly explain how passengers should act on our cruises. We provide our passengers with appropriate life jackets and instruct them on their use.
For safety reasons, high heels are not allowed on board.
We conduct our trips as ecologically as possible with a small carbon footprint so that our customers can enjoy cruises with a good conscience. In practice, we follow an appropriate cruising speed that consumes less fuel. In addition, after cruises, we deliver waste to appropriate points.
